Esoteric Center Amethyst
A logo for an esoteric center that works with different healing practices such as – reiki, astrology and mainly Human Design. The idea behind it was to be a meaningful symbol related to occult spiritual practices.

The Idea Behind The Logo
The client wanted the logo to be somehow related to the esoteric practices she does in her business. She wanted either a lotus or an OM symbol incorporated. At first she did not have a specific look in mind, but after some sketches & experiments we figured out what she liked and ended up going a completely different direction from her first initial symbol ideas.
Some helpful questions I asked her before starting:
Q: Do you have a specific color palette in mind?
“Yes, I would love the logo to incorporate different shades of purple and pink purple tones that related to the name and color of the amethyst crystal”
Sketches & Ideas
Variations of The Idea
Since my client did not know exactly what she wanted I started sketching some ideas based on the direction she gave me. As said above at first she wanted a lotus or the OM symbol incorporated into the logo. Then after some sketches and research from both sides we ended up redesigning & personalizing the antahkarana symbol.
The antahkarana is a powerful reiki symbol. People often refer to it as the connection between the middle and higher mind.
Colors & Aesthetic
Color Palette
The color selection for this project is entirely purple & pink. The idea behind the selected color palette is to remind of the colors of the amethyst crystal and radiate soft calming vibes so that it gives a sense of comfort to the people seeing the brand “Esoteric Center Amethyst”.
Besides that the majority of the target clients of Esoteric Center Amethyst are women. Therefore it makes sense to incorporate more feminine color combinations.
FINAL LOGO
The Final Logo Design
Final version of the logo is this one. We chose to add the name of the esoteric center in a gorgeous creative letters. Under them we have a divider with a gem in the middle. The logo is very unique in my opinion and can be used with or without the letters which means it can easily be adapted for social media & profile pictures.
